What you'll do
- Interpret customer problems and requirements and build solutions that add value to customers and the product.
- Collaborate with product managers and teammates to design and plan features and changes.
- Use AI coding tools to explore the codebase, prototype ideas, write and test code, and improve delivery practices.
- Improve tools and processes for developing, testing, and regularly shipping user-facing features.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain quality standards for all changes, including AI-assisted code.
- Champion user experience, focusing on clarity and speed.
- Contribute to product ideation and planning; share learning with teammates.
What you'll need
- Proficiency building production software in a language and framework of your choice.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and judgment to review, test, and take ownership of their output.
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools and adapt as practices change.
- Clear written communication in tickets, design notes, code reviews, or prompts.
- Interest in collaborative teams emphasizing respect and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience with PHP and Laravel, especially API development.
- Experience on production-level SaaS products.
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with Nx, Webpack, NPM, Jest, or Playwright.
- Experience with release management and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable products.
- Experience building product features using LLM APIs.
Success measures
Consistent, on-time delivery of product features and changes.
Clean, maintainable, well-tested code, including AI-assisted code.
Effective use of AI tools without lowering quality.
Clear communication, collaboration, ownership, and awareness of broader team work.
