Join the Product Development team to take product ideas from concept to production features in collaboration with developers and product managers.
The platform uses Laravel service APIs, PHP, MySQL, Redis, AWS, and an Angular front end in an Nx monorepo; Laravel experience is not required.
What you’ll do
- Translate customer problems and requirements into product solutions with the Product team.
- Help design and plan new product features and changes.
- Use AI coding tools to explore the codebase, prototype, write and test code, and improve team use of those tools.
- Improve development, testing, and release tools and processes for user-facing features.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain quality standards for AI-assisted and other changes.
- Champion clear, fast user experiences; contribute to product planning and ideation.
- Share knowledge with teammates and learn from them.
- Work on service APIs, endpoints, data models, queued jobs, and integrations behind new features.
What you’ll need
- Proficiency building production software in a language and framework of your choice.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and judgment to review, test, and own their output.
- Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools and adapt to changing practices.
- Clear written communication in tickets, design notes, code reviews, or prompts.
- Interest in respectful teamwork and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- PHP and Laravel experience, particularly API development.
- Experience with production SaaS products or scalable products.
- TypeScript, Angular, HTML, or CSS experience.
- Familiarity with Nx, Webpack, NPM, Jest, or Playwright.
- Release management, CI/CD, or LLM API experience.
Success measures
Deliver new features and changes consistently and on time.
Produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code, including when AI tools contribute.
Use AI tools to improve speed without reducing quality.
Communicate and collaborate effectively, take ownership, and stay informed about team work.
