The SDET 2 role focuses on software quality for digital banking products.
The role covers functional testing, API integration, microservices, and mobile app testing.
The role owns end-to-end delivery from a quality perspective and develops corner scenarios for end users.
Experience and technical requirements
- Requires 4 to 7 years of experience.
- Requires proven experience with test automation frameworks using Java and Python.
- Requires experience in API testing and validating REST or SOAP services using Rest Assured or HTTP Client.
- Requires experience automating native and hybrid mobile applications using Appium.
- Knowledge or experience in test-driven development and automation using CI/CD is specified.
- Banking software testing experience and understanding of financial markets are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and perform functional, API, microservices, and mobile app testing.
- Own end-to-end software quality delivery and develop corner-case scenarios.
- Analyze software quality requirements and test plans.
- Collaborate with the scrum team to improve solution testability and promote test engineering practices.
- Map test cases and scripts to acceptance criteria in user stories to establish traceability and coverage.
- Deliver software with a strong sense of ownership.
