The role designs, develops, tests, and supports software applications and technology solutions.
The engineer works closely with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and translate business and technical requirements into software solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Work with databases, APIs, integrations, and backend or frontend systems as needed.
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and development records.
- Follow development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of programming and software development concepts.
- Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, C++, or similar.
- Understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, or CI/CD is an advantage.
