Oversee soft services within a hospital environment, including housekeeping, waste management, and linen services.
Responsibilities
- Manage housekeeping, waste management, and linen services.
- Plan manpower requirements and staff schedules.
- Conduct quality audits and monitor KPIs.
- Coordinate with the hospital Infection Control Committee.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards and infection-prevention protocols.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Eight years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing hospital housekeeping or environmental services.
- Knowledge of infection-prevention cleaning protocols, medical-waste handling regulations, and CBAHI/JCI Environment-of-Care standards.
- Infection-control or housekeeping management certification preferred.
