Role Description

This is a full-time, remote Social Media Marketing Intern role.

The intern will support day-to-day social media execution, including drafting and scheduling posts, assisting with content calendars, and monitoring engagement across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Responsibilities include helping with social media content creation (captions, basic visuals, short-form videos), conducting research on trends and competitor activity, and suggesting ideas to enhance brand presence.

The intern will assist in community management by responding to comments and messages under guidance, and compiling performance reports using platform insights and basic analytics tools.

The role also supports the wider marketing and PR team with campaign coordination, brainstorming sessions, and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest and foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
  • Basic understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, especially for brand-building on social platforms.
  • Clear written and verbal Communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences and brands.
  • Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and current social media trends.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visuals; basic knowledge of design or video-editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar) is a plus.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, PR, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for hospitality, F&B, and lifestyle brands in the UAE market is advantageous.
