Role Summary

As the Social Media Manager at SLICIT you will spearhead our online presence, crafting and executing a dynamic social media strategy that enhances brand awareness, engages our high-end investors and HNWI audience, and drives our marketing objectives.

This role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of digital trends to manage our social media platforms effectively.

Role

  • You will be playing a pivotal role, along with the Head of Marketing, at the nexus of collaboration, working closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure our social media strategy is not only cohesive and brand-aligned but also leverages the deep knowledge and insights from across the company.
  • Specifically:
  • You will partner directly with our Investment Expertise Hub to translate complex investment concepts and market insights into engaging, accessible content for our audience. This collaboration ensures that the content not only educates our followers but also highlights our thought leadership and investment acumen. Regular meetings with investment analysts and portfolio managers will be scheduled to gather the latest trends, research, and insights, which you will then craft into stories, infographics, and posts that resonate with both seasoned investors and financial novices alike.
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Business Development and Sales teams, you will play a crucial role in promoting upcoming events, showcasing our investment portfolio, and highlighting success stories. Your expertise in social media will ensure that announcements and updates reach the widest possible audience, engaging potential clients and keeping existing ones informed. By creating compelling calls-to-action, behind-the-scenes event content, and testimonials, you’ll help drive attendance to events, generate leads, and ultimately support the sales funnel.

You will play a crucial role in evaluating the effectiveness of our social media campaigns, correlating our efforts with tangible impacts on brand visibility and engagement.

This process involves not just tracking metrics but interpreting them to understand how our content resonates with our audience, guiding strategic decisions and optimizing future initiatives for maximum reach and engagement.

Essential Qualifications And Skills

  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies in a corporate or agency setting. This experience should include direct responsibility for content creation, community engagement, campaign management, and achieving measurable growth in brand presence and audience engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Social Media Expertise: Extensive experience managing and growing social media platforms and profiles across key social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit and TikTok. The candidate should have a knack for adapting strategies to fit the unique demands and trends of each platform.
  • Creative Visual Content Development: Ability to conceptualise and collaborate on the creation of visual content, including images, videos and written, that aligns with our brand identity and messaging goals, enhancing engagement on our social channels.
  • Digital Marketing Acumen: A solid understanding of broader digital marketing strategies, SEO, and how social media fits within this mix, including knowledge of campaign integration, audience segmentation, and cross-platform marketing techniques.
  • Analytics and Performance Tracking: Skilled in using social media analytics tools to monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights to guide content strategy and optimization.
  • SEO Content Creation: Proficiency in creating content optimised for search engines, understanding how to incorporate keywords seamlessly, and structure content to enhance our online visibility. Your expertise will ensure that our social media content contributes positively to our overall SEO strategy, driving increased traffic and engagement.
  • Exceptional English Proficiency and Copywriting: Outstanding command of the English language, with the ability to craft compelling, engaging copy that speaks directly to our audience. Your copywriting skills should not only reflect creativity but also precision, capable of conveying complex ideas succinctly and appealingly.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh, appealing ideas for content and campaigns that capture the attention of our target market.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Graphic Design Proficiency: Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing content.
  • Video Production Skills: Capability to produce and edit short videos that engage users and promote the brand.
  • Influencer Collaboration Experience: Established relationships with influencers or a track record of successful influencer collaborations.
  • Multilingual: Fluency in additional languages beyond English to reach and engage a global audience.
