Role Description
As a Social Media Executive with Cosmopole you will be responsible for working directly with the Account Manager to support the wider team deliver best in class social media campaigns.
The role encompasses working across all social media channels, primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
Understanding the business needs and objectives of our clients, you will help to translate these into great campaigns – with beautifully written and visual content.
This role provides a great opportunity to work with some great regional brands and develop expertise in the world of digital communications.
Exceptional project management skills (multitasking and time management included) are essential.
About You
- You hold a degree in visual arts or media / marketing / mass communications or a related field.
- You have equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role; prior agency experience is essential and ideally, you have experience working across both client and agency environments.
- You are highly organised and comfortable working within clear structures, processes, and timelines.
- You take pride in staying on top of details and managing multiple priorities at once.
- Strong copywriting skills are essential, with the ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging content aligned to different brand tones of voice.
- You bring a proactive, can-do mindset and are eager to learn, adapt, and take ownership of your work. You are comfortable collaborating with a wide range of clients, teams, personalities, and cultures, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (both in Arabic and English), with the ability to adapt messaging across clients, internal teams, and a highly international environment
- Proven hands-on experience across key social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to proofread, quality-check, and self-review work before submission
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and utilise project management tools such as Click Up, Air Table etc.
- Excellent English copywriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, accurate, and engaging content across formats, and a basic working understanding of Arabic to support quality checks on translated content.
- A proactive, positive mindset with a genuine interest in continuous learning and improvement
- Strong time management and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Objectives & Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Account Manager to support the team across multiple client accounts
- Support a range of clients with their social media presence, ensuring all activity aligns with business objectives, audience profiles, and tone of voice
- Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and execution of content calendars
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand captions across platforms
- Liaise with designers and internal teams to translate ideas into effective visual content
- Support regular reporting and performance tracking, with insights tailored to each client
- Attend client meetings, document key discussion points, and ensure agreed actions are followed through
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables consistently
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for client feedback, ensuring updates are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Attend client events and activations when required to support content capture and live coverage
