Join the Security Operations Center as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst at Level 2.
Lead investigations, serve as the client point of contact, and conduct incident response and support sessions.
Security operations
- Lead Level 2 investigations, analyze and respond to incidents, resolve cases in a timely manner, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Fine-tune security tools and create use cases to strengthen detection and response; proactively hunt threats and mitigate risks.
- Disseminate threat intelligence advisories and monitor SIEM health and performance.
- Develop and maintain security operations procedures, and conduct SOC maturity and gap analysis with improvement plans.
Client support and reporting
- Act as primary client contact for cybersecurity concerns, provide guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and incident reports for clients and management with analysis and recommendations.
- Train and mentor new and junior analysts and assist with investigations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years in a SOC or similar cybersecurity role; five years of SOC L2 experience is specified as required.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and incident response methodologies.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools including QRadar, LogRhythm, and Microsoft Sentinel, threat intelligence platforms, and other security technologies.
- Experience administering SOAR platforms and implementing automated security playbooks end to end.
Preferred certifications and capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- BTL2, CySA+, CEH, SC-200, ECIR, eCTHP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

- Work location is in person.
