Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve software design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities.
  • Contribute to the adoption of AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) practices within the team to enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver features
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers when required
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
  • Design and develop distributed and data-intensive applications using Apache Spark.

Key Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns
  • Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, VS Code.
  • Unit testing and test-driven development.
  • Sound Knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of No-SQL databases(MongoDb)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, unit test creation, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with ORM frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with messaging systems (Apache Kafka).
  • Frontend exposure (Angular, JavaScript)
  • Experience with Apache Spark and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development and data-driven systems; ability to leverage tools such as AWS Kiro or similar platforms to improve productivity and software quality.
  • Curiosity and openness to adopting emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-driven workflows as part of a modern software development lifecycle.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
  • Experience with integration framework like Apache Camel.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, etc
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven exposure to AI-driven software engineering methodologies and enterprise adoption of Generative AI development tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience: 4-5 years

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
