Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assess and threat-model AI and machine-learning solutions.
• Conduct AI red-team exercises to find vulnerabilities in LLMs, AI models and AI-driven applications.
• Design and implement AI security controls, guardrails and monitoring.
• Secure AI development environments, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on secure configuration management.
• Support AI governance through security standards, risk controls and compliance requirements.
• Analyze security data and emerging threats to improve security posture and resilience.
• Contribute to security automation, AI security innovation and enterprise cyber resilience.
• Help ensure AI systems comply with security, privacy and governance requirements.

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of AI security engineering principles, frameworks and best practices.
• Experience securing LLMs, foundation models and generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of prompt injection, model theft, adversarial attacks, jailbreaks and data poisoning.
• Hands-on experience in AI red teaming, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments and security testing.
• Understanding of secure software development, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Experience with cloud security, identity management, encryption, monitoring and security automation.
• CISSP or equivalent security certification is required.
• CCSP or equivalent cloud security certification is required.
• Demonstrated AI security, application security or cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-based AI, machine-learning or data-science environments.

Preferred qualifications

• CEH, OSCP, Microsoft SC-100, AZ-500, AWS or Google cloud security certifications are good to have.
• AI governance, responsible AI, machine-learning security, generative AI, threat-intelligence, penetration-testing or security-architecture certifications are also listed as good to have.
• Experience securing AI agents and machine-learning pipelines is highly preferred.
• Experience building secure AI development environments and automated security controls is advantageous.
