Smart Contract Developer | Blockchain Solutions Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain smart contracts, including Solidity contracts and applicable token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.
• Design blockchain architectures and translate business requirements into practical blockchain solutions and decentralized applications.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and business teams; define technical architectures, components, protocols, and integration strategies.
• Evaluate networks and platforms, including Ethereum and compatible Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems.
• Integrate contracts with web applications, APIs, wallets, backend services, enterprise systems, databases, and cloud environments.
• Conduct testing, debugging, code reviews, deployment, optimization, and security assessments; identify vulnerabilities and support audits and remediation.
• Optimize gas use and transaction performance; design secure wallet, key-management, authentication, and transaction-signing workflows.
• Research protocols and emerging technologies such as Layer 2, interoperability, decentralized storage, oracles, and cross-chain systems.
• Prepare architecture documents, diagrams, API specifications, and contract documentation; establish coding, testing, and deployment standards.
• Support CI/CD and automated testing; troubleshoot transactions, contract failures, integrations, and production incidents.
• Work with vendors, infrastructure providers, auditors, and partners; provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
• Ensure appropriate governance, monitoring, compliance, and operational controls for blockchain solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven blockchain development, smart contract development, or blockchain architecture experience.
• Strong Solidity programming experience and familiarity with Web3 technologies; experience delivering smart contracts on Ethereum or compatible networks.
• Strong blockchain architecture and distributed systems knowledge, including consensus mechanisms, transactions, blocks, nodes, EVM networks, and Layer 2 technologies.
• Experience with Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or equivalent frameworks; familiarity with ethers.js, web3.js, or similar libraries.
• Experience integrating contracts with frontend and backend applications; understanding of cryptography, signatures, wallets, and blockchain security.
• Knowledge of smart contract vulnerabilities and secure development; experience with automated testing and blockchain testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, CI/CD, REST APIs, microservices, databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed applications.
• Strong gas optimization, system design, architecture, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts and work independently with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of token standards, dApps, DeFi, or digital assets is advantageous; smart contract audit experience is preferred.
• Blockchain, Web3, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, or software engineering certifications or training are advantageous.
