Smart Contract Developer | Blockchain Solutions Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end blockchain solutions, scalable decentralized application architectures, and on-chain/off-chain interaction models.
• Develop, deploy, maintain, integrate, and optimize production smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Evaluate blockchain networks, protocols, infrastructure, Layer 2, oracle, storage, wallet, custody, and interoperability options.
• Implement token standards and design tokenization, asset-management, transaction, access-control, and digital-ownership mechanisms where applicable.
• Build automated tests, debug contracts, investigate failed transactions, and review code and architecture for vulnerabilities and performance.
• Work with security specialists and auditors on assessments and remediation; establish development, deployment, testing, and monitoring standards.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, API documentation, and solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, compliance, and business teams; provide technical leadership and guidance.
• Monitor deployed applications, troubleshoot production incidents, and research emerging blockchain technologies and use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience in blockchain development, smart contract engineering, or blockchain solution architecture.
• Strong hands-on Solidity and EVM experience; experience deploying contracts to testnets and mainnet.
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed systems, transactions, wallets, and cryptographic concepts; experience with Ethereum-compatible networks.
• Proficiency with Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or equivalent frameworks; experience with Web3 libraries, RPC/API services, and automated smart contract tests.
• Knowledge of contract security risks, secure coding, gas management, transaction execution, contract lifecycle, token standards, and decentralized applications.
• Experience with Git and modern software practices; familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, cloud services, backend architecture, and combined on-chain/off-chain systems.
• Strong system-design, architectural, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Smart contract audit participation and relevant blockchain, cloud, cybersecurity, or architecture certifications are advantageous.
