Smart Contract Developer | Blockchain Solutions Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end blockchain solutions and scalable decentralized application architectures.
• Develop, deploy, maintain, and optimize production-ready smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Evaluate networks, protocols, infrastructure, Layer 2, oracle, and decentralized storage options.
• Define on-chain/off-chain components, enterprise integrations, and cross-chain integration where required.
• Design tokenization, asset management, transaction, digital ownership, access control, and authorization mechanisms as applicable.
• Integrate contracts with frontend, backend, APIs, and external platforms.
• Establish secure development patterns and standards for development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Create automated tests; debug contracts and investigate failed transactions or unexpected behavior.
• Review code and architecture for security, reliability, and scalability; identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation.
• Work with security specialists and external auditors; monitor deployed systems and resolve production incidents.
• Create architecture diagrams, specifications, API documentation, and solution blueprints; collaborate in planning and reviews.
• Research emerging technologies and provide technical guidance to blockchain developers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional blockchain development, smart contract engineering, or blockchain solution architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on Solidity and EVM experience; experience deploying contracts to testnets and mainnet.
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed systems, transactions, wallets, cryptography, Ethereum-compatible networks, and Layer 2 ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or equivalent frameworks, plus Web3 libraries and blockchain RPC/API services.
• Experience writing automated tests and knowledge of smart contract security risks, secure coding, gas management, and transaction execution.
• Experience with Git and modern software development; familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployment.
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, cloud services, backend architecture, on-chain/off-chain systems, token standards, and dApp architecture.
• System-design and architectural thinking, troubleshooting and analytical ability, software engineering principles, and design patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts, document and present technical work, and manage multiple priorities.

Advantageous experience

• Experience participating in security audits or remediating smart contract audit findings is advantageous.
• Relevant blockchain, cloud, cybersecurity, or architecture certifications are advantageous.
