- Execute and monitor the established policies and procedures for an effective and efficient functioning of the Technical Department by visit the engine room on a regular basis
- Manage and monitor budget on a day-to-day basis and provide the Manager with weekly financial reports
- Accurate reports to the Base Plant Superintendent & Sr. Technical Manager on Work done/day-to-day Performance, issues and preventive maintenance requirements
- Provide a high degree of technicals knowledge and expertise for all workshop repairs aspects of Technical Department
- Provide leadership and guidance towards all team members for collective goal
- Conduct regular visits to ensure effective and safe operation of all vessels and support crafts, according to HSE requirements. Respond to QHSE reports and ensure addressed issues will be solved
- Cooperate efficiently and constructively discuss operational issues on a regular basis with engineering superintendent and (Sr.) dredge master
- This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you will be ask to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements
- Identify hazards
- Obtain information from HSE Department
- Make recommendations to HSE Department

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in similar industries
