Job Summary

Seeking a skilled SRE Engineer and Observability specialist to join the team.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Elasticsearch and observability solutions.

The role requires configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Elastic environments.

Expertise is needed in deploying and managing clusters, developing search solutions, and optimizing performance.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Design, deploy, and manage monitoring/observability stacks (Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Zabbix).
  • Build custom dashboards and KPIs tracking system health, app performance, SLIs/SLOs.
  • Implement proactive alerting; create and automate alert rules.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters; design ETL pipelines and index templates.
  • Define metrics, logs, and traces for new services with dev teams.

Automation & Infrastructure

  • Automate monitoring/alerting config via IaC (Terraform).
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage Linux, Kubernetes/Docker, and cloud infra (OCI/GCP/Azure).
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of deployments.

Incident Response

  • On-call rotations, post-incident reviews, runbook/playbook development.
  • Provide telemetry-driven root cause analysis.

Collaboration

  • Partner with Dev/QA/Ops to ensure services are properly instrumented.
  • Train internal teams on dashboards and metrics interpretation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) plus Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog.
  • Proficient in Linux, networking, SQL, regex, scripting.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (OCI/GCP/Azure).
  • Logging/tracing/metrics best practices.
  • APM and basic ML-based anomaly detection exposure a plus.
  • Certified Elastic Engineer a plus.
  • Willing to travel to KSA as required.
