Senior Network Consultant – Segment Routing / SRv6

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end network solutions leveraging Segment Routing and SRv6.
• Lead migrations from traditional MPLS architectures to SRv6-based environments.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize high-scale routing platforms in multi-vendor environments.
• Analyze network performance, plan capacity, and troubleshoot to ensure reliability.
• Resolve complex routing, latency, path-selection, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to junior network engineers.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into network solutions.

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in advanced networking and routing technologies.
• Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Segment Routing.
• At least one year of hands-on experience designing and deploying SRv6 in production.
• Valid Cisco CCIE or CCDP certification.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network performance, routing, and connectivity issues.

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of network automation and programmability tools, including Python, Ansible, and NETCONF/YANG, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Traffic Engineering and Network Slicing is preferred.
• Carrier-grade service provider network and large-scale network transformation experience is preferred.
• Communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
