Site Engineer - Interior Fit-Out

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations to ensure timely and accurate execution of interior fit‑out works.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE guidelines.
• Prepare detailed project schedules and sequence activities in alignment with overall project timelines.
• Develop and maintain daily and weekly manpower schedules for site and warehouse teams.
• Arrange and deploy workforce effectively, forming balanced production groups and ensuring smooth coordination.
• Supervise subcontractors, labor teams, and site resources to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Review architectural, MEP, joinery, and production drawings and ensure accurate implementation on site.
• Conduct site measurements, verify dimensions, and prepare precise as‑built documentation.
• Participate in and verify site surveys before production; maintain updated survey records.
• Inspect and verify materials delivered to site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and coordinating with procurement for timely supply.
• Monitor and control material release from suppliers, ensuring adherence to production schedules and minimizing waste.
• Coordinate material flow between production, design, and sales departments.
• Maintain comprehensive daily records of manpower, materials, equipment, inspections, and site progress.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress photos, inspection records, variation documentation, and weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Handle correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication.
• Coordinate with local authorities for drawing submissions, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in site meetings, provide progress updates, and prepare minutes of meetings.
• Conduct routine quality inspections, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Identify potential site hazards and implement preventive safety measures.
• Support snagging activities, final inspections, and overall project handover processes.
• Prepare as‑built drawings, close‑out documentation, and assist during the defect liability period.
• Ensure quality standards across site and production units, reporting deviations and directing corrective actions.
• Monitor material usage to ensure minimal waste and efficient production processes.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
