Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Review architectural and shop drawings, specifications and project documentation; ensure work follows approved drawings and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and timely completion; coordinate installation of furniture, joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes and other interior works.
• Inspect workmanship and coordinate material needs, deliveries and site readiness before installation.
• Identify site issues, technical challenges and coordination conflicts and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and provide management updates.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, rectification works and handover; maintain housekeeping and an organised site.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and site regulations and coordinate multiple trades.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, interior decoration, joinery or furniture installation projects.
• Strong understanding of interior construction and fit-out processes; able to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Good knowledge of site coordination, project execution and quality control.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project/site documentation.
• UAE experience is preferred; a UAE driving licence is an added advantage.

Pay

• Pay is listed as AED 3,500–AED 5,000 per month; the structured salary field states AED 3,500 per month.
