Site Engineer

Role overview

Site execution

• Supervise daily civil construction activities and coordinate structural, concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure work follows project schedules, approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and other site teams.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accurate site implementation.

Progress, quality, and compliance

• Monitor progress against milestones, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with QA/QC on quality requirements.
• Identify site issues and construction discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
• Allocate and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment at the site.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and project-specific requirements.

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Civil Site Engineer with established construction or contracting companies.
• Hands-on high-rise building or hotel construction project experience in the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction, particularly structural and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience in site supervision, subcontractor coordination, and construction execution.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations; strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to infrastructure, roads, utilities, or general maintenance projects will not be considered.
