A technical services company is hiring a site engineer for a specialist field team working across residential and commercial properties in Dubai.
No prior leak detection experience is needed; structured training lasts two to three weeks, followed by supervised live projects and progression to independent site work.
What you will do
- Investigate water ingress in roofs, wet areas, facades, basements, and slabs across residential and commercial buildings.
- Use thermal imaging cameras, moisture meters, acoustic devices, and pressure testing tools to identify leak sources.
- Supervise and carry out waterproofing and sealing work on site.
- Record findings with photographs and site notes, then prepare client reports with findings and recommended works.
- Communicate findings to building owners, property managers, and developers on site.
Required qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience on construction or building maintenance sites.
- Ability to write clear, structured reports in English; applicants should be detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on site.
- Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
Preferred qualifications
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Experience with building envelopes, MEP systems, facilities maintenance, or direct client and building-manager interactions is preferred.
Training programme
- Training covers professional leak investigation from arrival through report preparation, and operation of diagnostic equipment.
- Training also covers waterproofing system types, correct application methods, and professional report writing.
Workplace
- The role involves field work on residential and commercial properties in Dubai; the stated work location is in person.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,800 per month.
