Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day electrical site activities and monitor progress against the project schedule.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents for site execution.
• Ensure electrical installation works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve technical and execution issues.
• Track material availability, deliveries, and site requirements to avoid delays.
• Support inspection, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection requests, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor compliance with project quality requirements, electrical codes, and HSE procedures.
• Raise RFIs, technical queries, and non-conformance issues as required.
• Assist in handover preparation and closeout documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical site coordination, field engineering, or site electrical execution.
• Experience in construction, industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, power, or related project environments.
• Good understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, cable works, panels, earthing, lighting, and equipment installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams.

Key Skills

• Strong site coordination and communication skills.
• Good technical understanding of electrical installation and commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Familiarity with QA/QC, HSE, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or project management tools is an advantage.

Reporting To

• Field Engineering Manager / Electrical Project Engineer / Site Manager, depending on project structure.

Working Conditions

• Based at project site.
• May require extended working hours depending on project milestones and commissioning activities.
