Role overview

Supports safe, efficient, and reliable products and services for customers in the SIS well-placement area.

Consults with operations groups, identifies service-delivery improvements, promotes new technology and services, and provides real-time support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support through sales and product and service delivery; assist with technical job designs and cost-effective techniques.
  • Explore value-added offerings and consult with design or technical engineers to optimize designs.
  • Assist with real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation; evaluate technical viability and tenders.
  • Support risk management and apply lessons learned to improve job design and execution.
  • Stay current on technology and competitors’ offerings; participate in professional societies and technical communities.
  • Contribute to, write, and review technical publications; engage with universities, customer institutes, and research organizations.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in the SIS well-placement area.
  • Ability to provide technical support through sales and product and service delivery activities.
  • Ability to support technical job design, operational incident response, and tender evaluation.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings and contribute to technical publications.
