Qualifications:
- · Prior distribution experience.
- · Proven leadership skills.
- · Must be able to read and write English and comprehend basic math skills.
- · Must have basic PC skills with Microsoft Office, WMS, AS400.
- · Able to be Forklift certified by Hayward Industries for sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi.
- · Cannot have a fear of heights.
- · Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime are both required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to operate a forklift, sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi safely.
- The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The noise comes from forklifts, delivery trucks, and office equipment. Safety glasses are required while on the plant floor.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree preferred with 1 to 3 years’ experience or equivalent operations work experience preferred (3 to 5 years in a high volume distribution center, inventory management, or warehouse setting).
