Role overview

Store operations

• Supervise sales-floor customer service, merchandising, housekeeping, shipping and receiving, and health and safety.
• Manage and delegate associate tasks to support productivity and service and sales goals.
• Mentor and train associates so they can perform assigned tasks and provide service.
• Provide responsive customer service and work toward sales and conversion goals.
• Evaluate service quality, resolve or escalate customer matters, and maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Ensure accurate transactions, inventory, and store procedures; direct shipping and receiving operations.

Qualifications and availability

• Computer skills and ability to learn technological systems quickly.
• Leadership and decision-making skills, including under pressure, and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Availability for extended days, evenings, weekends, and additional peak-holiday shifts.
• Flexibility to transfer to other store locations as needed.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs, use a ladder up to 10 feet, and stand or walk for 8 hours.

Pay and benefits

• Hourly pay is $19.60.
