SharePoint Developer Consultant

About This Role

Purpose:

Customer is seeking proposal to provide onsite SharePoint Developer consultant on a Time and Material (T&M) basis to work collaboratively with their in-house HCL Lotus Notes development team to develop and migrate Applications on SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint on‑Premises sites.

Contract duration and working hours

The consultant will be placed on site in the customer's Doha office and work with their IT team for the contractual period of 9 months. The consultant's expected working hours are from 6 AM to 2 PM Sunday through Thursday. These working days and hours are subject to adjustment as per the customer's IT schedule.

The customer will reserve the full rights to hold and continue the duration of the project whenever required.

Scope of work

The scope of work includes the following, but is not limited to the following:

Application Study, Design, Development, Configuration and Migration of 29 Applications currently developed on HCL Lotus Notes to SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint on Premises sites.

Work collaboratively with existing customer HCL Lotus Notes Development team comprising of 2 developers (who have developed all current applications on HCL Lotus Notes) with basic SharePoint Development knowledge in jointly developing these applications within the timeframe of 9 months.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer with minimum 5 years strong expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Online/On‑Premises development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support SharePoint solutions, automate business processes, and build low‑code applications while integrating SharePoint with Oracle databases and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint on‑Premises sites, including site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows
• Develop customized Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven) to support business processes
• Create and maintain Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and system integrations
• Customize SharePoint using SPFx, JSON formatting, custom web parts, and extensions
• Implement role‑based access, permissions, governance, and security best practices
• Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with Oracle databases using APIs, gateways, REST services, or middleware
• Develop and manage data connections between SharePoint, Power Platform, and Oracle systems
• Support migration from HCL Lotus Notes to SharePoint Online and Power Platform
• Perform solution testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and provide end‑user training
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

5. Service Level Agreement

The objectives of this Agreement are to:

· Provide apparent reference to service ownership, accountability, roles, and responsibilities.

· Present a clear, concise, and measurable description of service provision to the customer.

· Consultant SharePoint Developer must ensure that he/she must carry out his/her assignments diligently, utilizing his/her experience, expertise and information made available to them in the normal course of this contract.

· Customer reserves the right to interview and select the Consultant SharePoint Developer and request for replacement if necessary due to Non-performance.

· Customer reserves the complete right to consume services for required different work within the same domain and functionality areas.

· Consultant SharePoint Developer work duration for project work may change and extended based on the customer requirements.
