Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to act as the technical lead for platform configuration across a complex multi-module transformation programme.

The Lead Developer owns complex workflow design, module architecture and upgrade-safe configuration standards, overseeing mid-level developers and ensuring technical quality across all build activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead for all platform configuration activities across ITSM, ITAM, HRSD and CMDB modules
  • Design and build complex workflows, automation rules and Flow Designer processes aligned to approved architecture
  • Lead Service Catalog design and fulfilment workflow implementation across defined complexity tiers
  • Oversee and mentor mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to upgrade-safe configuration standards
  • Configure Performance Analytics dashboards for Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB Health and Asset Lifecycle domains
  • Implement Predictive Intelligence and Virtual Agent capabilities for approved use cases
  • Collaborate with Integration Engineers on platform-side integration configurations and data mappings
  • Conduct configuration reviews and peer validation across all developer outputs
  • Support testing phases including system testing, integration validation and UAT resolution
  • Ensure all development artefacts are documented and handed over in alignment with knowledge transfer requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across enterprise implementations
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – required
  • ServiceNow CIS-ITSM – required
  • ServiceNow CIS-SAM – preferred
  • Proficiency in Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies
  • Experience with Performance Analytics configuration and reporting framework design
  • Strong knowledge of Service Catalog design, approval workflows and fulfilment automation
  • Experience with Predictive Intelligence and Virtual Agent configuration
  • 35+ Service Catalog implementations or equivalent breadth of complex workflow delivery
  • Solid understanding of ITSM, ITAM and CMDB module interdependencies

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Experience with Now Assist AI capabilities and generative AI configuration within ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with HRSD and SecOps module configuration
  • Background in upgrade cycle management and instance health governance
