With JBT Marel’s continued growth, we’re looking for a
Service Coordinator
to join the Service Support Team.
This role will be located in
Dubai
Scope and Authority
The Service Coordinator [Division] is responsible to support the regional Service Manager to provide best in class customer service from the point of initial contact until successful fulfillment of the customer’s request.
The SC should support the regional SM to proactively drive sales of service solutions and spare parts.
It is the regional CSC that is facing the customer and the SC is supporting.
The SC is supporting with knowledge for special requests, helping the regional SM developing service quotations and/or orders and managing customer requests.
The SC has good understanding of JBT Marel aftermarket service activities.
The SC has good knowledge of the service process and systems used related to managing service requests, quotations, and orders to be able to support the regional SM and handle special requests.
The SC responsibilities include supporting the service team with admin tasks and customer for all service activities.
The SC also support the regional CSC as back-up when needed.
The SC work closely together with, Service Area Manager, Customer Care Manager, Field Service Engineers and Technical Support Engineers in the division to ensure an aligned approach to the customer, proactively driving customer satisfaction and best in class service operation.
Main Tasks
- The SC supporting the SM in planning of execution of service activities, drive and follow up execution and feeds back to the relevant function, suggestions for improvements. The SC also push for new opportunities. and support in managing escalations in a fast and efficient way when required.
- Support regional SM in processing customer requests for service jobs.
- Support SM in renewal of service contracts and other service commercial offerings
- Preparing commercial offerings preventive maintenance schedules (PMS), overhauls together with Technical Support and Service Manager
- Support regional SM in preparing and planning service events
- Support travel arrangements and preparation for work execution for the service team
- Follow up on executed events where they have been involved, including going through service reports with the support of technical support
- Support in communication for regional resolving escalated commercial service questions and issues (green flow) with coordination with Service Manager.
- Will get Training on how to handle service requests, quotations and orders as well as execution follow up, including processes, tools, division specific items etc.
- Support knowledge transfer from division to region, including division specific information on service solution, service contracts etc.
- Back-up to support regional SM (thus need to have good understanding of service processes and systems used locally)
- Support regional SM in handover process from Sales to Service and from Service to Customer
- Familiar with Sales Force is a plus
- Being flexible to support on weekends if needed
- Flexible to travel not more than 25%
