Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests : Welcome guests to the historic Stagecoach Inn with a warm and friendly attitude as they arrive at their tables.
• Take Orders : Accurately take food and beverage orders, answering any questions about the menu and making suggestions as needed.
• Serve Food & Beverages : Deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Customer Service : Anticipate guests’ needs, provide refills, and respond promptly to any additional requests.
• Upsell : Suggest additional menu items such as appetizers, desserts, or drink specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Handle Payments : Present checks, process payments (cash, credit cards, gift cards), and return change or receipts.
• Maintain Cleanliness : Ensure tables are clean and well-maintained throughout service. Assist in clearing dishes and resetting tables after guests leave.
• Handle Complaints : Address any guest concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operations and service flow.
• Follow Health & Safety Standards : Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a serving or customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables at once.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
