Position Overview

Blaura is seeking an experienced Travel Concierge & Experience Coordinator with strong expertise in booking systems, GDS platforms (Amadeus/Sabre), reservation management, and travel itinerary planning. The role is primarily focused on handling end-to-end travel services including flight bookings, staycations, resort/hotel reservations, holiday planning, visa requirements, travel insurance, and itinerary curation.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional travel operations knowledge, familiarity with UAE tourism market, and the ability to handle diverse client needs—from economy to premium/luxury travel.
Additionally, the role supports 20% event coordination for family and social events (kids’ parties, baby showers, wellness retreats) as part of a holistic concierge offering.

Primary Responsibilities (80% Travel & Concierge)Booking & Reservation Management

• Manage flight, hotel, and experience bookings across GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre) and travel reservation platforms.
• Create, modify, and cancel bookings with complete accuracy; avoid errors in names, dates, destinations, visa rules.
• Compare itineraries and pricing across airlines, routes, and classes based on client preferences.
• Manage PNRs, fare rules, ticket issuance, re-issuance, and refunds where applicable.
• Collaborate with DMCs, hotel partners, tour operators, destination specialists, and booking platforms.

Travel Planning & Client Experience

• Prepare customized itineraries for different budgets (economy/premium/luxury).
• Recommend destinations, resorts, adventure activities, tours, wellness travel, and themed getaways.
• Understand and advise on visa requirements, passport validity, travel insurance, health requirements.
• Provide guidance for travel safety, documentation, airport processes, and baggage rules.
• Knowledge of popular destinations such as Bali, Maldives, Thailand, Europe, UAE local tourism spots, and luxury staycation resorts is an asset.

Accuracy & Service Quality

• Cross-check all bookings to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Handle difficult customers or last-minute issues calmly with solution-oriented communication.
• Maintain professionalism in all communication channels: WhatsApp, email, calls, in-person.
• Maintain reservation logs, invoicing, confirmations, cancellations, and client preference history.

Revenue Generation & Upselling

• Upsell tours, lounge access, airport transfers, insurance, room upgrades, activity add-ons, special experiences.
• Suggest seasonal promotions and premium packages to maximize occupancy & revenue.
• Support management with development of new travel products and packages.

Secondary Responsibilities (20% Events Support)

• Assist in planning and coordination of events like:
• Kids’ birthday parties
• Baby showers & family gatherings
• Wellness or corporate retreats
• Staycation experiences & themed events
• Support with vendor booking, venue reservations, décor, entertainers, catering, photographers, etc.
• Help prepare event schedules, checklists, budgets, and guest experience plans.
• Provide concierge-style support to guests attending events or retreats.
• Ensure events run smoothly with coordination between venue, vendors, and guests.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 2–4+ years experience in travel concierge, agency operations, or GDS reservation services
• Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre) or travel CRMs
• Experience with holiday planning, staycations, itinerary building & destination research
• Knowledge of visa/passport rules, travel insurance, airport requirements
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and client handling skills
• Proven ability to handle difficult customers/situations professionally
• Sales mindset: experience with upselling travel add-ons, packages, or upgrades

Preferred:

• Exposure to the UAE tourism market (hotels, resorts, attractions)
• Experience coordinating small-scale private events
• Vendor management experience
