The Senior Techno-Functional Engineer serves as the functional and technical authority for Oracle FLEXCUBE in an Integration Platform Squad.
Key responsibilities
- Define and validate FLEXCUBE integration requirements for channels, payment systems, finance, risk, and external applications.
- Support API, event-driven, and middleware integration design using FLEXCUBE process, service, and data-model expertise.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support solution design reviews, impact assessments, and integration mapping.
- Coordinate with business users, vendors, architects, and development teams to resolve issues.
- Support SIT, UAT, migration, production readiness, and defect resolution.
- Ensure solutions follow FLEXCUBE best practices and banking operational requirements.
Required skills and experience
- Required technical and functional expertise in FLEXCUBE.
- Required knowledge of Oracle Database, WebLogic, REST/SOAP APIs, integration/ESB, and Kafka.
- 8–12 years of experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation, support, or transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of FLEXCUBE modules including CASA, Lending, Customer Information, Payments, and Trade Finance.
- Understanding of FLEXCUBE APIs, messaging interfaces, database structures, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with system integrations, middleware platforms, and digital banking ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong stakeholder-management, analytical, and communication skills.
Desirable experience
- Core banking transformation, migration, or modernization experience is highly desirable.
- Preferred technologies include Oracle Database, Java, JavaScript, and microservices.
