Role overview

Mandatory technical skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency, including language features, memory management, collections, coroutines, and object-oriented design.
• Android SDK, native development, platform APIs, Android UI principles, Material Design, responsive layouts, and accessibility.
• MVVM/MVI architecture, state management, dependency injection, Jetpack components, and Jetpack Compose.
• SOLID principles, clean architecture, design patterns, modularization, concurrency, threading, and thread-safe development.
• Room, SQLite, caching, offline-first architecture, and data synchronization.
• Performance optimization, Android libraries and framework integration, Git, code reviews, unit testing, and UI test automation.
• Production-scale Android delivery, cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize large-scale Android applications and modern user interfaces.
• Apply scalable architecture, modular design, concurrency, offline storage, and performance optimization.
• Use version control, code review, testing, and quality practices in collaborative development.
• Deliver and support production applications; collaborate across product, design, architecture, and QA.
• Mentor developers, lead technical discussions, set coding standards, and drive architectural decisions.

Non-mandatory skills

• CI/CD and automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar tools are non-mandatory.
• Android security concepts, secure storage, authentication, encryption, API security, and secure coding are non-mandatory.

Requirements

• Evaluation criteria specify 8+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, including advanced language features, memory management, collections, coroutines, and object-oriented design.
• Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing large-scale Android applications using the Android SDK and platform APIs.
• Expertise in Android architecture, including MVVM/MVI, state management, dependency injection, and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack libraries and Jetpack Compose.
• Practical experience applying SOLID principles, clean architecture, design patterns, and modularized codebases.
• Experience with concurrency, threading, offline-first storage, caching, and data synchronization.
• Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, unit and UI testing, test automation, and quality practices.
• Demonstrated delivery and support of enterprise-grade production Android applications.
• Experience mentoring developers, leading technical discussions, defining coding standards, and driving architectural decisions.
• CI/CD and automated build, test, or deployment pipeline experience is non-mandatory.
• Understanding of Android security concepts and secure coding is non-mandatory.
