The role manages digital contract lifecycle processes, contract workspaces, approval workflows, and connections between procurement and external ERP systems.
Key responsibilities
- Set up contract lifecycle stages for creation, negotiation, execution, and storage.
- Build contract templates, clause libraries, user permissions, and approval workflows.
- Integrate Ariba Contracts with Ariba Sourcing, Buying/Invoicing, and ECC or S/4HANA systems through CIG.
- Lead client workshops, train end users, and collaborate with legal and finance teams.
- Troubleshoot system issues, monitor contract compliance, and generate reporting dashboards.
Skills and experience
- 5 to 9+ years of SAP procurement experience, with focused expertise in Ariba Upstream, especially Sourcing and Contracts.
- Strong grasp of Source-to-Contract and Contract Workspace lifecycles.
- Ability to configure templates, condition-based rules, and integrations with external systems.
- Clear communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
