Project management
- Lead Solar PV and BESS projects from initiation through development.
- Plan execution, schedules, budgets, and resources; monitor progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project teams and consultants, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure delivery against client requirements and company standards.
Technical oversight
- Oversee renewable energy technical studies, including site selection, feasibility, solar resource and energy-yield assessments, BESS optimization, hybrid systems, and grid and power system studies.
- Oversee environmental and social studies, geotechnical and topographical investigations, and technical due diligence.
- Challenge assumptions, review deliverables for quality and completeness, and provide technical recommendations.
Stakeholder management
- Interface with developers, investors, utilities, regulators, and government entities.
- Lead technical workshops, progress meetings, and client presentations; support business development and proposals.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing and delivering renewable energy projects, including managing utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
- Strong experience overseeing technical studies and multidisciplinary teams.
- PMP certification is preferred; a master's degree is an advantage.
- Saudi Arabia and GCC project experience is highly desirable.
Technical knowledge and competencies
- Strong knowledge of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, renewable project development, grid integration, and interconnection requirements.
- Knowledge of energy-yield assessment methods, feasibility studies, renewable energy regulations, and industry standards.
- Project management, technical and commercial oversight, stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
