Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our Doha office. This role plays a key part in ensuring full tax compliance, supporting strategic tax planning, and maintaining accurate financial and regulatory reporting in line with Qatar’s tax framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns in accordance with Qatar tax regulations
• Manage VAT compliance, including calculations, filings, reconciliations, and reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax-related reports and documentation
• Monitor updates in tax laws and assess their impact on business operations
• Support tax planning initiatives to optimize compliance and efficiency
• Assist in tax audits and coordinate with regulatory authorities when required
• Maintain organized tax records and ensure proper documentation control
• Collaborate with finance teams during month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify tax risks and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax accounting or taxation roles
• Strong knowledge of Qatar tax regulations and VAT framework
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and professional judgment
