Role Summary
Own and evolve Microsoft identity and messaging infrastructure.
Administer Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, and DNS while keeping systems secure, stable, and documented.
Work with security, network, and helpdesk teams to resolve authentication and connectivity issues and deliver upgrades and migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Active Directory, including OU structure, GPOs, replication, and site topology.
- Manage ADFS for federated authentication and SSO and Microsoft Entra ID for conditional access and hybrid identity through Entra Connect.
- Manage Exchange Server and Exchange Online, including mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, and distribution groups.
- Administer and troubleshoot internal and external DNS.
- Monitor the health, performance, and security of Active Directory and identity infrastructure.
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patching across Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot complex authentication, identity, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain documentation and runbooks, collaborate with technical teams, and join on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure administration.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, ADFS claims rules and trust configuration, Microsoft Entra ID or Azure AD, Exchange, and DNS.
- Solid Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Native Arabic and advanced English communication.
