This is a full-time 6 days a week on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer located in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of project delivery within the stipulated schedules and ensuring proper implementation of QA/QC procedures.
- Reviewing and Approving Site Submittals [Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, RFI responses etc.]
- Arranging technical workshops with Contractor and other relevant entities
- Advising and resolving constructability issues
- Advising on concrete repairs methods and treatments
- Inter-disciplinary Coordination and ensuring adequate coordination and implementation on site
- Keeping abreast of industry developments within UAE
- Providing advice on technical issues
- Provide support to the Resident Engineer as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience; minimum 10 years in UAE
- Experience working with Consultancy firms is a must
- Experience working as part of site supervision on concrete and steel structures
- Strong proficiency in structural design and analysis software
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
