The position requires strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, industrial technology, and manufacturing process consulting.
Manufacturing Expertise
- Requires knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning and scheduling, supply chain management, procurement, inventory and warehouse management, and quality management.
- Requires knowledge of maintenance and asset management, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and shop floor operations.
Technology Knowledge
- Requires understanding of MES and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.
- Requires understanding of SCADA, PLC or DCS, industrial automation, IIoT platforms, and digital twins.
- Requires knowledge of advanced analytics, AI in manufacturing, and smart factory solutions.
Consulting Skills
- Perform manufacturing process consulting and business process mapping or optimization.
- Support solutioning and presales activities.
- Communicate with executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and elicit requirements.
