Role overview

The Senior Solutions Engineer is part of Shure's Global Sales team and generates demand for AV and IT solutions through prospecting, qualification, education, and tailored proposals.

The role leads strategic customer engagements, designs complex solutions for a specific region, represents Shure at industry events, and promotes organizational best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective customers for Shure AV and IT solutions.
  • Promote existing and new products to channel partners and end users, aligning offerings with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Qualify projects and assess their readiness for Shure solutions.
  • Understand and document customer challenges through active listening and strategic questioning.
  • Create and deliver customized product education for prospective customers.
  • Design complex solutions and recommend tailored approaches to meet end-user needs.
  • Meet or exceed project and new-account targets and pursue key-account growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and technical experts.
  • Maintain prospect, sales activity, and performance records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent Shure at industry events; promote new technologies and best practices; lead customized end-user engagement activations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience and comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
  • The qualifications list CTS, Microsoft Teams Rooms Technical Enablement Certification, and Zoom Certified Integrator Program.
  • Experience in audio technical support, audio design, and audio equipment setup.
  • Background or experience in one or two of touring production, theater production, integration, conferencing, broadcasting, or networking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfort meeting and dealing with new people.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and see projects through to completion.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of good time management.
