Role Overview

Domain and Delivery Requirements

• Strong experience in banking, accounting, payments, or settlements is required.
• The candidate must have participated in or led at least three core banking implementation projects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, teams, ceremonies, and deliverables is required.
• Prior exposure to the core banking domain is preferred.

Architecture Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Design resilient, reliable, and secure core banking solutions using microservices and APIs.
• Create high-level designs for core banking applications, integrations, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Technical Competencies

• At least 10 years of experience with core banking applications, APIs, message brokers, event streams, microservices, and container-based or cloud-native infrastructure.
• Knowledge of architecture principles, design patterns, and integration ecosystems such as switches, third-party systems, REST APIs, and ISO8583.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls, regulatory requirements, threat modeling, authentication, authorization, encryption, and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies including machine learning, generative AI, large language models, RAG, embedding models, vector databases, MCP, and AI agents.
