Job Title: Senior Solution Architect – Industrial Digital Transformation
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience Level: Senior (Minimum 8 years’ experience)
Job Summary
The Senior Solution Architect is the technical authority responsible for the design and governance of the integrated digital ecosystem.
Acting as a Lead System Integrator, you will translate operational requirements into integrated technical architecture.
You will oversee the deployment of the mandated Digitalization Scope, ranging from Operation Twins and Predictive Maintenance to Robotics and Digital Operations Centers, ensuring all solutions align with the project's Digital Design Philosophy.
Key Responsibilities (Ordered Top-to-Bottom per Digitalization Scope)
- Operations & Planning Architecture: Design and govern the integration for Operation Twins, Operations Management, and Operational Discipline. Oversee the implementation of Shift Operations and Control of Work systems.
- Safety & Environmental Systems: Architect the technical framework for Operational EHS and Environmental Performance, including HSE Geofencing and Plume Shape Visualization for gas leak and fire modeling on the 3D twin.
- Performance & Simulation Governance: Oversee Plant Performance Improvement, Asset Health Management, and the integration of Dynamic Simulation Models for Well Surveillance Management and Production Accountability and Reconciliation.
- Asset Integrity & Maintenance: Define the orchestration for Asset Maintenance Management, Condition Monitoring, and Asset Integrity (including Corrosion Management and Risk Management).
- AI & Predictive Systems: Implement Predictive Maintenance and Sustaining Engineering solutions utilizing Classical and Deep Learning AI, Machine Learning, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN/DNN).
- Knowledge Management & Decision Support: Realize Knowledge Management through defined workflows to enable effective optimization and provide automated decision support for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Immersive Visualization: Govern the deployment of the 8 D Digital Twin utilizing Laser Scan data for AR/VR training, remote maintenance, and real-time asset visualization.
- Robotics & Autonomous Fleet Integration: Lead the design and integration for Heave Intervention Robots, Light Inspection Robots (quadrupeds/crawlers), Inspection Drones, etc.
- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure: Validate the architecture for IT/OT Asset Inventory, OT Change Management, Obsolescence Management, and Virtualization/Hardening.
- Coordination with various internal teams and PMO office.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: 8+ years in industrial software, with proven experience managing the "Triangle" of Vendor Software + Custom Integration + Customer Requirements.
- Technical Mastery: Direct experience architecting solutions across the O&M spectrum, including Asset Integrity, Digital Twin, and HSE Management.
- Standards: Mastery of TOGAF, ISA-95, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Deep understanding of IEC 62443 for securing IT/OT environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Chemical Engineering with coding experience.
