Senior Solutions Architect

Translates business and technical needs into an architectural plan, documenting all solution design work and analysis.

Collaborates with product owners to understand business drivers, current capabilities, future requirements, creating enterprise solution design and change requirements.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to support business goals

Analyzes the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement

Supports product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and information

Leads the evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of solutions architecture across specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements, enterprise standards and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.

Creates architectural designs and artifacts to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems, including solution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns. Collaborates with other architects as necessary for alignment across projects, products, or initiatives.

Defines the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.

Coordinates with development teams to identify needs and maintains a roadmap of required design changes due to changes in the enterprise technology landscape.

Provides consulting support and subject matter expertise to developers within agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical, architectural debt and overall enterprise architecture standards.
