Senior Software Engineer, Weave - Weights & Biases

About the role

What you’ll do

• Implement robust, ergonomic APIs and integrations with agent harnesses and SDKs such as Claude Code, Codex, pi.dev, and OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Improve backend performance for low-latency, high-volume production workloads.
• Build online LLM judges, playgrounds, evaluations, labeling, and tracing experiences.
• Gather user and customer feedback and iterate on product solutions.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience and deep knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript.
• Personal or professional experience building AI agents.
• Able to work amid ambiguity and adapt rapidly.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale online production services or OLAP databases is preferred.
• Previous startup experience is a plus.

Compensation

• Annual base salary range is $165,000–$220,000; starting salary depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
