Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable GitHub workflows for adoption by application teams • Develop control automation in partnership with Control Owners • Instrument the product to understand how teams use it and to identify opportunities for improvement • Measure the effectiveness of our solutions through data analysis and user feedback, and refine them continuously • Engage directly with application teams to gather requirements and understand the range of practices they use to build software • Support application teams in adopting our tooling by directly answering user queries. • Produce clear, user-focused documentation that enables teams to self-serve

- Proven ability to build software with a product mindset, breaking down vague requirements into deliverables that fit the wider product strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- CI/CD: hands-on experience designing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity or Jenkins, including reusable workflows, pipeline security and automated quality gates
- Infrastructure: practical experience deploying and running applications on Google Cloud Platform, including containerising services with Docker, orchestrating workloads with Kubernetes and managing releases with Helm charts
- Build tooling: familiarity with build and dependency management tools such as Maven, Gradle and npm, including configuring builds, managing dependencies and producing versioned artefacts
- Regulated environments: experience building software in a regulated industry, such as financial services, with an understanding of the controls, audit and compliance requirements that apply to software delivery
