Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer – C++ (LLM Evaluation & Repository Validation) to work on a part-time basis.

This role involves hands-on software engineering work, including development environment automation, issue triaging, and evaluating test coverage and quality for large-scale public GitHub repositories.

As a senior software engineer, you will be at the forefront of evaluating how Large Language Models (LLMs) interact with real code, influencing the future of AI-assisted software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open-source libraries, ensuring high-quality code and efficient issue resolution.
  • Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup to facilitate seamless development and testing.
  • Evaluate and validate the quality of test coverage, ensuring comprehensive and accurate testing for AI-assisted software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality software development tools and frameworks.
  • Develop and implement software development best practices, ensuring efficient and scalable software development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in C++ programming language, with experience in software development and testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Experience with GitHub and GitLab, including repository management and issue tracking.
  • Familiarity with Dockerization and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to evaluate and resolve complex technical issues.
