Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience applying software engineering best practices with a focus on security, reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
  • 4+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions on AWS (Azure or other cloud platforms), including microservices and cloud-native architectures.
  • 1+ years of experience working with event-driven architectures.
  • 1+ years of experience working with cloud databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB) and distributed caching technologies (Redis, Valkey, ElastiCache).
  • Experience contributing to application modernization, cloud migration, or legacy transformation initiatives.
  • 1+ years of experience working in Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience building highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
  • Experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking, Remittance, or other high-volume transaction processing environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-region or globally distributed platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience participating in platform modernization and cloud migration programs.
  • Spanish language proficiency.

  • Salary
  • Annual base salary range is $110,000 - 135,000 USD per year. Total on-target compensation includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
