Senior Software Engineer (Los Angeles, CA)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, position performing software development.
• Must also have experience in the following : 2 years of professional experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using programming languages (including C/C++, Java, C#, Rust, React, and OOP language); 2 years of professional experience designing and optimizing distributed systems, including microservices architectures built with Java and Spring Boot, implementing Redis-based caching strategies, and leveraging Kafka for event-driven message queuing; 2 years of professional experience analyzing and enhancing system scalability, reliability, and performance metrics; 2 years of professional experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact; 2 years of professional experience interacting systems with a broader production environment including dependencies and platform primitives; and 2 years of professional experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, platform engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and analytics engineers.

• The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
