Role Overview
Build platform services that connect TeamViewer's core remote connectivity platform with its digital employee experience platform.
The role focuses on authentication and authorization federation, user synchronization, and secure service-to-service communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance integration services using Java with Spring and Kotlin.
- Define architecture and implement new platform-service features.
- Work with token exchange, service principals, user-context authentication, and auditing across platform boundaries.
- Continuously integrate, build, and deploy solutions from test systems to production.
- Design secure, documented APIs and highly available database systems.
- Ensure software is secure, stable, scalable, and efficient.
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior team members.
- Advise product owners on feasibility and estimates and collaborate on integration flows.
Requirements
- University degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Java with Spring, Kotlin, and SQL are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing and large-scale distributed systems architecture.
- Knowledge of Secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10 remediation, and threat modeling.
- Experience with feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and prototyping.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers with strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- .NET and C# backend service knowledge is a plus.
- Parallel programming, test automation, network communications, digital certificates or PKI, and AI coding tools are desirable.
