Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer C++/C# to actively contribute to the development of our remote access solution and backend services using modern C++ and C#/.NET technologies. The position will report to the Team Lead Software Development and provides an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.
- Design and develop new functionality for our software solutions using C++ (primary focus) and C#.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful web APIs using C# (.NET).
- Continuously participate in application design to further enhance our systems and code base regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Work independently on solutions for specified requirements and take responsibility for meeting time and quality specifications.
- Continuously integrate, build, and deploy our solutions from test systems to production.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality and development practices.
- Support the maintenance and modernization of existing software components while developing new features.
- Act as an advisor towards product owners regarding feasibility studies and estimates for new functionality.
Requirements
- University or college degree in the field of computer science, software engineering, or any other related subject, or relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development with modern C++.
- Good knowledge of C# backend development and the.NET framework, particularly in developing and maintaining RESTful web APIs and backend services.
- Good understanding of Clean Code and Design Patterns for object-oriented programming.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining complex software applications.
- Good understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Experience with unit testing and continuous integration practices.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript, particularly React, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and automated build and deployment pipelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools for coding (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Cursor) is a plus.
- A positive and solution-oriented mindset paired with a structured and analytical way of thinking and working, being a team player, and being motivated to learn new things.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
