Role

Senior frontend-focused software engineering role involving full-stack development for DAZN's sports streaming products.

The role emphasizes robust, testable code, iterative delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver code that follows engineering procedures, code conventions, and development methodologies.
  • Improve software deployment to enable iterative releases and rapid customer updates across platforms.
  • Work with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver user experiences.
  • Share expertise with colleagues and the wider industry and help drive innovation.

Experience and capabilities

  • At least 3 years of relevant full-stack development experience and expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 1–2 years of experience developing Node.js projects.
  • Familiarity with modern web tools and practices including ES, MobX, AWS, Serverless, Microservices, GraphQL, Docker, New Relic, and Webpack.
  • Understanding of HTTP, SSR, testing techniques, build tools, and CI/CD.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, independent working, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
